A derivative of aspirin, beta-hydroxy acid has soothing anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties. Often prescribed by dermatologists as an effective keratolytic, the JustGoodSkinCare 2% BHA is safe to use along with retinol-based products. A concentration of 2% beta-hydroxy acid and at an optimum pH of 3, this fat-soluble formula works on the surface of the skin as well as inside the pore to force out cellular debris like oils, fats, bacteria, and dead cells. It targets blocked pores, blemishes, whiteheads, blackheads, pimples, acne, and ingrown hairs. It assists in clearing breakouts and fades red marks from past breakouts.
